Due to the way of distributing that we use in Coblonal, we try not to understand the corridors as simply passageways.
We like that they have a utility and integrate storage spaces such as dressing rooms with paneled doors, or custom-made furniture with metal or wooden niches.
However, on some occasions, due to the architectural distribution of the space, it is impossible to eliminate the corridor.
In these cases, we can include a beautiful piece of art on one of the walls with lighting that enhances it or a mirror that visually enlarges the space. If it is an endless corridor, a good resource could be to play with linear lighting that directs the view towards the end of the corridor.
Another trick could be to paint the wall at the end of the corridor with a different color from the perimeter walls. In this way, we can visually bring that wall at the end of the corridor closer and make it visually appear shorter. If the corridor is wide enough, we can also resort to including some visible shelves that run along it and that can serve as a bookstore, for example.
