Interior Design for Common Areas of the Emotional Seasons Building

The interior design of this project included modifications to the main access facade; interventions and improvements to the building’s main lobby; renovation in all lobbies in front of elevators, elevator cabins, as well as toilets; in addition to a renewal of the lighting of the areas to be intervened.

The main need at a functional level was to make improvements to the routes inside the building, mainly in terms of accessibility and safety. The installation of shifts and technological improvements, to solve the problems at the deficiency level of a building that seeks to adapt to the new times.

The most important element to highlight at a functional level is the nerve element of the lobby, which centralizes its functionality, acts as a backlit light and at the same time fulfills its functions as a digital directory of the logos of the clients who have their offices in the ‘Emotional Seasons Building; it is a large volume that contains lighting inside and that transforms depending on the seasons of the year.

Aesthetically, this interior design project wants to clean elements rather than add them, eliminate visual noise, look for a neutral, warm and temporary background, because the best way not to go out of fashion is not to be influenced by fashions … Always looking for the maximum dimension of the spaces, enhancing the diagonals and symmetries that suggest the gravitational center of the entire space, and thus comply with the current aesthetic values in accordance with the users of the building.

To help reinforce the corporate identity of the building, we called it the “Emotional Seasons Building”, we incorporated elements that had the ability to adapt and mimic the seasons of the year. The most remarkable element in the lighting decoration is a backlit lamp on the ceiling of the lobby, this is a Videowall of 2046 x 1157 mm, integrated into the white laminated glass box, ribbed axis that presides over the lobby of the building, made up of backlit white glass and side walls lined with titanium-colored metallized finishing plates.

The interior design and decoration of this project conveys what we wanted for our client: technological and functional improvements to the building, transforming it into a warm, timeless, bright, flexible and practical building, because upon entering the Emotional Seasons Building conveys a pleasant and warm feeling.
