At Coblonal, we carried out the spatial organization and construction of the Gunni & Trentino flagship store in Barcelona: a 3,300 m² showroom that redefines the concept of exhibition space for interior designers and individuals, from a functional, strategic perspective adapted to the actual flow of the business.
Within this overall framework, we transformed the ground floor of the showroom into a true interior design showcase, designing scenes that recreate domestic environments to inspire visitors and convey a complete, cohesive, and sophisticated vision of the home.
The interior home family is located on the ground floor, right at street level. This position is no coincidence: it captures the attention of the viewer, who may be drawn to a sofa, a warm scene, or well-designed lighting from a shop window. This initial visual contact acts as a gateway to a deeper experience.
We conceived this area as a sequence of complete domestic scenes: bedrooms, living rooms, passageways, and dining rooms. Each room is decorated down to the last detail, so that the client, as they walk through the space, feels like they’re in a real home. This narrative and scenographic strategy aims to excite, inspire, and invite them to imagine their own project.
On a technical level, the exhibition proposal required great precision: strategically placed lighting points for each lamp, electrical layouts tailored to the furniture on display, and constant coordination with the Gunni & Trentino team. Every technical decision was carefully considered to meet both the desired functionality and aesthetics.
This area of the showroom also reflects our overall functional layout strategy: each element was designed first for its purpose, and then for its form. We created a fluid path, without dead ends, that intuitively guides the visitor through the space.
But we didn’t just design for the visitor: we also designed with those who work there every day in mind. From the outset, we took on a dual challenge: to excite the end customer and facilitate the daily work of the Gunni&Trentino team. To achieve this, we designed a flexible environment with modular structures that allow for easy updating of the scenes with new collections, while maintaining the freshness and dynamism of the space.
One of the most unique aspects of this project was the need to work on a space that couldn’t be stopped. We developed our project in phases, with meticulous and careful planning that allowed us to maintain the showroom’s operations while we renovated the different areas. It was an exercise in precision, coordination, and respect for the client’s work.

The result is a space that showcases products and, at the same time, turns them into an effective sales tool. By integrating design, commercial strategy, and operations, the interior home area becomes one of the most powerful gateways to the Gunni & Trentino universe.
